Complete day for Djenne tour , a very long day during which you will be discovering the beautiful town of Djenne – Its big market – Its impressive and attractive mosque , built with mud – Coranic schools or Mederssa – Traditional architecture with the soudanese style – Continuation to the Dogonland in the afternoon – Arrival Sangha and setting at the encampment

Dogonland 6 :
Early in the morning we shall go on foot to discover the Dogon villages along the cliffs and the plains where paths come down straight from the cliffs ; you will then take the necessary time to go up and come down from these cliffs . The Dogons arrived in this area around the 15 th century to flee razzias and tribal wars and mainly to escape islamisation .

Dogonland – Mopti 7 :
