1 : Arrival in Bamako
Arrival by scheduled flight in Bamako, welcoming
to the airport, transfert to hotel.
Dinner and overnight in Bamako
Day
2 : Bamako - - Djenne
Breakfast and departure for Djenné, settling
in the Djenné campement. Dinner and overnight.
Mosquée de Djenné
Day
4 : Mopti- - Sangha
Breakfast and visit of the town. We can see
the fishing harbourg, the craftmen’s market,
the Bozos encampment. After departure to Sangha
the dogon country, arrival in settling at the
Sangha campment. Visit of Sangha. Overnight
in Sangha.
Day
5 : Dogon Country
Breakfast and starting the trekking of the cliffs
of Bandiagara. We will see the dogons villages
as Banani, Ireli, Pegue, Bongo. Overnight in
the campment or in the cliffs in Dogon house
and conversation with the tradional chief.
Jour
6 : Dogon Country
Breakfast and trekking in the Bandiagara cliffs.
Visits. The dogon settled in this place in the
15th century in orders to flee the razzia and
the different tribal was of theirs neighbours.
Nowadays they have remaind reserved. It was
for them, a way to avoid new invasions which
might disturb their culture and way of the life.
We will organize a dogon dance in which we will
enjoy the differents Dogons mask. Overnight
in Sangha or in the cliffs with the dogon.
Day
7: Dogon - - Mopti
Breakfast and departure to Mopti, visit of Songo
and continuation to Mopti.
Day
8: Mopti - -Lake Debo by pinasse.
Whole day long in navigation. Visits of fisher’s
villages. Overnight in tent near the Niger river.
Niger
- - Day 9 : Lake Debo
Breakfast and departure to Mopti and arrival
in the afternoon. Overnight in Mopti in Kanaga.
Day
10 : Mopti- -Bamako - - Departure
Breakfast and departure to Bamako, visit of
San ( the market and the mosque) on the road
continuation to Bamako. Arrival and city tour.
In the afternoon transfert to airport for the
departure.
